Business Management Associate Program

The aim of the Business Management Associate Degree Program is to train qualified personnel to meet the needs of businesses operating at various scales.

The vision of the Business Administration Associate Degree Program is to train our students as business managers with universal values, management and leadership responsibilities, efficient, self-confident, and decision-making power; It is to provide a quality education and training that will prepare you to take an effective role in the global competitive environment after graduation.

Business Associate Program Curriculum

In order to graduate from Bahçeşehir Cyprus University, a course load of 60 credits must be completed. Our students take the basic courses required for business (such as introduction to business, economics, accounting, statistics, mathematics) within two years. In addition to the compulsory courses required for this branch, our students also take elective courses.

Students who complete the program will have achieved the following outcomes:

7. To know the necessary ingredients for improving the productivity in business life

11. To have the ability to fully utilize the potential of internet and the electronic world

12. To be able to use at least one foreign language both for communication and academic purposes

13. To acquire leadership qualities but also to know how to be a team member

14. To understand the importance of business ethics and to apply business ethics as a principal guide in both business and academic environment

15. To have the moral courage to withstand objective criticism and to have a perspective of self-criticism in the task of business and academic life.

Assessment

Course assessment usually consists of a comprehensive final exam, midterms, projects and continuous assessment.

Letter grades are calculated based on the weight of the final exam and continuous assessment and the actual numerical grades achieved in these two assessment components. The semester grade point average (GPA) and grade point average (CPA) of the student are calculated according to the course grades.

Graduation

The student has to complete 120 ECTS and all program requirements. A minimum cumulative grade point average (CPA) of 2.0 is required. Thus, although a ‘D-‘ is a PASS grade, an average grade of ‘C’ is required to achieve a CPA of 2.0.
