Programme Curriculum

The non-thesis Master of Healthcare Institutions management program consists of at least ten courses with a total of 30 credits and not less than 90 ECTS, and a term project course. The student has to register for the term project at the end of the second semester at the latest. Students must register for the term project course in the semester in which the term project course is taken and submit a written project and/or report at the end of the semester. The term project course is non-credit and is evaluated as successful or unsuccessful.

The duration to complete the Health Institutions Management Master non-thesis program is at least three semesters, at most four semesters, regardless of whether or not they are registered for each semester, starting from the semester in which the courses related to the program they are enrolled in, excluding the time spent in scientific preparation. At the end of this period, the student who fails or cannot complete the program is dismissed from the higher education institution.

Assessment

Course assessment usually consists of a comprehensive final exam, midterm, quizzes, case analysis, projects, and participation in the class.

Letter grades are calculated based on the weight of the final exam, midterm exam, quizzes, case analysis, projects, assignments etc. and the actual numerical grades achieved in these assessment components. The semester grade point average (GPA) and grade point average (CPA) of the student are calculated according to the course grades.

Graduation

The student has to complete 90 ECTS and all program requirements. A minimum cumulative grade point average (CPA) of 3.0 is required.
