Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Veclal Gündüz visited Borsa İstanbul authorities for their support of the Exchange Application and Finance Simulation Laboratory (BIST-LAB), which was established in the Banking and Finance Department of Bahçeşehir Cyprus University in cooperation with them. The Dean presented a plaque of appreciation to General Manager Dr. Korkmaz Ergun and Assistant General Manager Dr. Güzhan Gülay for their contributions.

The first foundations of the “Bahçeşehir Cyprus Inter-University Portfolio Competition” to be held at BIST-LAB, which aims to teach financial markets especially to university students and increase financial literacy, were laid during the visit. The competition will be held between October 20 and December 20, 2023.
