The Master’s program in ELT (MA without Thesis) is designed to provide candidates with academic background and thorough training in the theory and practice of English language teaching. MA candidates must take and successfully pass 10 courses to complete their MA studies in ELT.

The primary outcome of the program is to equip the students with advanced and specialized knowledge in the field and help them acquire skills for research. A well-balanced emphasis on theory and application is maintained throughout the program. The students who can successfully finish the Master’s program in English Language Teaching are equipped with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to address the needs of our country and to contribute to the development of foreign language education policies worldwide in line with the ever-changing global environment for foreign language teaching.
Course assessment usually consists of a comprehensive final exam, midterm, quizzes, case analysis, projects, and participation in the class. Letter grades are calculated based on the weight of the final exam, midterm exam, quizzes, case analysis, projects, assignments, etc., and the actual numerical grades achieved in these assessment components. The student’s semester grade point average (GPA) and grade point average (CPA) are calculated according to the course grades.

The Master of English Language Teaching program without thesis is aimed at students to gain access to information through scientific research and knowledge to acquire the ability to evaluate and interpret. Our program is designed to prepare students with the necessary skills to gain knowledge and skills required by the teaching institutions and, together with other competencies, make the ability to analyze and make strategic strategies.
