BAU Cyprus Rector Visits Embassies of Zimbabwe and Togo

Bahçeşehir Cyprus University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Toycan and his accompanying delegation visited the Embassies of the Republic of Zimbabwe and the Republic of Togo in Turkey. During the visit, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Toycan, was accompanied by his Advisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Banu Numan Uyal, Secretary General Mr. Mustafa Toycan, and International Office Director, Deputy Secretary General Ms. Nuket Tanol.

The delegation met with Mr. Chakurangeyi Mutodza, the Undersecretary of the Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe, and His Excellency Kamala Bidialou, Ambassador of the Republic of Togo. The importance of developing new cooperation and mutual support between Zimbabwe, Togo, and BAU Cyprus has been emphasized at the meeting.

During the visits, where the parties exchanged views on academic issues, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Toycan appreciated the positive approach of the Embassies towards the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the generous support they have extended to BAU Cyprus since its establishment. In response, their Excellencies expressed their contentment with the visit and mentioned that their favorite governments support our university in their full capacity.

Toward the end of the meetings, our Rector presented handcrafts from Cyprus to their Excellencies, and the visits finished with memorial photo shootings.
